Plaster profile

All materials are carefully selected and are subject to constant quality control. We use:

1 sendzimir-galvanized steel sheets or slit strips with both sides coated with zinc of thickness 275 g/m2.
Light metal strips and sheets of special aluminium alloy (31037) as well as acrylic coated aluminium.
Slit strips of stainless steel 1.4301.

Catnic guarantees perfect quality and professional design of the profile strips made from the abovementioned materials.

The period of guarantee for plaster profiles is limited to six months including the legal purchasing contract regulations and starts with the date of delivery. As we have no control over the composition or physical and chemical properties of the plasters used, we cannot guarantee the corrosion resistance of the profiles.

The suitability for the respective application conditions as well as the compatibility testing in the use of new types of plastering material is the responsibility of the purchaser. We will be happy to provide free samples.

Corrosion problems can only occur with continuous or repeated wetting or slow drying of the plasters. In interior regions short drying times by means of good ventilation and exhausting must be ensured.

The plastering thicknesses given in our catalogue are to be understood as guidelines.

In the installation of the profiles the following basic regulations must be taken into account:

Profiles of sendzimir galvanized steel sheets are suitable for plasters of lime. lime cement, cement and gypsum.
Aluminium profiles for gypsum and artificial resins in interiors.
Profiles of stainless steel are suitable for exterior plasters and for high chemical and mechanical loading as well as full heat protection systems in the sanitary regions.

The profile strips must be stored in dry and well ventilated spaces.

The profile lengths mentioned in the catalogue are constantly in stock. We will be happy to supply other lengths on request.
